Tentaciones Latin Restaurant serves seven arepas at 50-52 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, from $10 to $26. Most are filled and finished with guacamole, cheese and homemade mayonnaise, and two are simple: the Arepa con Huevo Perico and the Arepa solo Queso.

What is an arepa?
An arepa is a round cornmeal cake, cooked on a griddle or fried, eaten across Colombia and Venezuela. It can be served simply, with cheese or eggs, or topped with a filling. We serve both kinds.
Gluten free arepas
Five arepas carry the GF (gluten free) tag on our menu: Toro, Chancho Chicharron, Pollo Loko, Veggie and Chori Arepa. The menu does not tag the other arepas as gluten free. If you have coeliac disease or a serious allergy, please call 0415 496 751 to check before you order.
Arepas for breakfast
On Saturday and Sunday we open at 9am, and the arepa con huevo perico ($15) and the arepa solo queso ($10) are part of our Colombian breakfast.
Arepas with other dishes
A fried arepa comes on the bandeja paisa ($35) and a grilled arepa on the calentado ($30). The Chicharron Ceviche ($20) and the Chorizo Platter ($20) come with your choice of arepa or patacon.

Tentaciones Latin Restaurant is at 50-52 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, up the hill from Central Station in the UKO Surry Hills building. We are open Monday to Thursday 11am to 7pm, Friday 11am to 10pm, Saturday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm. You can eat in, take away or order delivery, and delivery orders go through Uber Eats.
